Management Team
Christopher T. Blisard
Founder and CEO
Christopher T. Blisard is a Founder and CEO of VirtualArmor, and also currently serves as the company’s Chairman of the Board. Mr. Blisard brings 22 years of operational, business development and leadership experience to this position.
In addition to VirtualArmor Mr. Blisard serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Circadence, a position he has held since 1999. By holding overall P&L and daily operation, development, and sales & marketing responsibility, Mr. Blisard directs tactical planning to maximize Circadence’s growth and development. His intuitive leadership from product conception to execution and crucial role in the planning and execution of overall product strategy continues to provide the company with a clear path to success.
Throughout his career Mr. Blisard has created a number of strategic partnerships with prominent industry leaders such as Hewlett-Packard, Accenture, Dell, Vodafone, Cisco Systems, CSK Ventures (Hitachi), Microsoft, Deutsche Telekom, Global Crossing and Pacific Century Cyberworks Japan (PCCWJ). His leadership has also been vital to the development of significant business relationships within the defense and security industry including the Department of Defense and all branches of the military, Northrop Grumman, L3 and others. Mr. Blisard’s in-depth understanding of these markets and his leadership skills make him uniquely capable to serve as VirtualArmor’s CEO and Chairman.
Mr. Blisard has also been involved in a number of successful enterprises, including: VR•1, Inc.; Online Network Enterprises (ONE), an Internet Service Provider acquired by Rocky Mountain Internet (RMI) in 1997; SolarTech Enterprises LLC, a designer and developer of patented chemical ultraviolet sensors, winner of the USWest New Venture Fund and the recipient of two National Cancer Institute research grants; Armor Holdings, Inc. (formerly ABA), a top supplier of human safety and survival systems to all branches of the U.S. military and major aerospace and defense prime contractors; and GCCTechnologies, an innovator in combining reliable hardware and revolutionary software to produce high-performance computer peripherals
Mr. Blisard also serves on the Board of Directors for RoomlinX. RoomlinX Inc. provides in-room Business, Media and Entertainment solutions designed to increase revenues and brand loyalty for hotels, resorts, and other properties, utilizing premium content and applications demanded by today’s traveler.
Mr. Blisard formerly served on the Board of Directors for the Mile High Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). To stay current with trends and developments within the defense and security industry, Mr. Blisard is a member of the NDIA and the Association of the United States Army (AUSA).
Todd Kannegieter
Co-Founder & CFO
Since 2002, Mr. Kannegieter has served as the CFO at VirtualArmor and a member of the company’s Board of Directors, bringing 25 years of finance, accounting and treasury experience to this position. Mr. Kannegieter’s experience includes private equity placements and debt issuances for start-up communications and Internet services companies, strategic and financial planning, mergers and acquisitions and managing finance and accounting activities for both domestic and international businesses in the communications and Internet services sectors.
In addition to VirtualArmor, Mr. Kannegieter serves as the Vice President of Finance for Circadence Corporation, an industry-leading provider of wide area network (WAN) optimization technology to the US Government and commercial enterprises, a position he has held since 2001. In this role, Mr. Kannegieter is responsible for all accounting, finance and treasury matters for Circadence and has been involved in raising both debt and equity financing and structuring a debt facility with GE Capital and Dell Computer for purchasing end-user equipment.
Prior to joining Circadence, Mr. Kannegieter served as CFO of Rivien Communications, Inc., a telecommunications company providing integrated voice and data applications, where he was responsible for accounting, finance and investor relations functions. Mr. Kannegieter was a key member in raising private equity, raising debt for acquiring a telecom company and selling the company to Allegiance Telecom for $27 million in 2001. Prior to Rivien, Mr. Kannegieter was Vice President, Finance at COMSAT International, acquired by Lockheed Martin in 1999, where he had complete accounting and finance responsibility for operations in 11 countries with $400 million in investment and $115 million in annual revenue.
While with US West MediaOne (now Comcast Cable) prior to COMSAT, Mr. Kannegieter held various finance positions including CFO at Westel Cellular in Budapest, Hungary where he played an integral role in helping US WEST’s consortium win a 900 GSM license and then building and operating the company prior to its acquisition by Deutsche Telekom for approximately $1 billion.
Mr. Kannegieter started his career with KPMG Peat Marwick and spent 5 years as an auditor on multi-national oil and gas, real estate and financial institution engagements.
Mr. Kannegieter has volunteered his time for several non-profit organizations including the CFO/Treasurer for Flagstaff Charter Academy from 2003 to 2008, a K-8 charter school in Longmont, CO, where he was one of the Founders in 2003.
Christopher E. Lee
VP of Sales and Marketing
Christopher Lee brings over 10 years experience to VirtualArmor as a sales and business development leader.
Previously Mr. Lee was VP of Sales for GabrielSales, a sales process and execution consulting firm, and was instrumental in the company’s revenue growth for two years. Principle areas of business included: launching a new Metro Ethernet product in the Denver Metro area that resulted in over $1 million in revenue growth, mapping the sales process for a SaaS (Software as a Service) company focused on ITAM ( Information Technology Asset Management) and growing the commercial business for an online IT security publication. Prior to GabrielSales, Mr. Lee was the VP of Business Development for IDWatchdog. Inc. (CDNX IDW.V), a technology company that provides identity theft monitoring and resolution. While at IDWatchdog, Inc., Mr. Lee formed strategic alliances with numerous data aggregation companies, the core of the IDWatchdog technology. Mr. Lee successfully launched the IDWatchdog service into the B2B and B2C market which resulted in over $6.8 million in venture funding. Mr, Lee founded EighteenSeeds LLC, a mobile and wireless company, where he successfully integrated overseas design, testing and manufacturing with major wireless companies throughout North America. Mr. Lee began his professional career as a financial planner for Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank.

Michael S. Wasik
Michael S. Wasik is currently CEO of RoomLinX, Inc. (OTC:RMLX), which now supports over 37,000 internet connected (wired and wireless) hotel rooms in 20 states. Wasik joined the RoomLinX Executive Management team in August of 2005 after executing the merger of his company, SuiteSpeed with RoomLinX.
Prior to the RoomLinX merger Wasik was the CEO/Founder of SuiteSpeed Inc. a wireless Internet provider within the hospitality market. Having launched SuiteSpeed in late 2002, Wasik was responsible for defining technology architecture, market direction, and the overall vision for this fast growing WiFi company. SuiteSpeed’s customer brands include Renaissance by Marriott, Marriott Courtyard, Holiday Inn, Best Western, Radisson, Embassy Suites, Days Inn, TownePlace Suites by Marriott, and Hampton Inn & Suites, as well as many boutique hotels.
Wasik is also the Founder and Chairman of the Board of TRG Inc. an IT consulting company. Under his leadership, the company achieved average growth of 300% per year, over the first four years. with positive. Since starting TRG, Wasik expanded the company’s billable resources from 6 consultants in 1997 to 60 consultants in 2000 serving Fortune 500 corporations across the U.S.
Wasik has been nominated for the 2005 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, has been asked to speak at the University of Colorado on Entrepreneurship, and currently sits on the Editorial Board for Hotel Executive publication.
Robert Shaughnessy
Robert Shaughnessy currently serves as Vice President, Business Development and Engineering Services for Circadence Corporation, an industry-leading provider of wide area network (WAN) optimization technology to the US Government and commercial enterprises. With over 20 years experience as an executive, consultant and practitioner in the technology sector, Mr. Shaughnessy is responsible for the operation of Circadence’s strategic business development efforts, partnerships and product direction.
Mr. Shaughnessy has been in leadership and advisory positions with several successful startup companies providing secure communications software, specialized IT consulting, and network security solutions. Prior to joining Circadence Mr. Shaughnessy was Vice President, Business Solutions Division at Reliacom, Inc., a leading IT consulting firm in Northern Virginia. Principle areas of business included high performance networking, secure web-based audio and video, and complex heterogeneous network consolidation for a diverse client base which included Verizon, AT&T, Land Rover, The General Services Administration, Discovery Networks and the Washington Redskins. Mr. Shaughnessy was instrumental to Relicom being recognized in the annual INC. 500 awards in back-to-back years.
Mr. Shaughnessy is a Lifetime Member of the Association of the US Army (AUSA) and IEEE and is active in regional and national efforts to promote entrepreneurship and provide access to technology across economic and geographic boundaries.
Peter Olivio
Peter-Christian Olivo has served as Circadence’s Executive Vice President and General Counsel since 2000. In this role, Mr. Olivo is responsible for all legal and regulatory matters for Circadence and has played an integral role in several high profile transactions for the company, including the sale of its VR-1 online game division to PCCW Japan for $48 million in stock and cash in 2001, and a $100 million debt and equity transaction with Hewlett-Packard Company in 2000.
Prior to joining Circadence, Mr. Olivo served as an associate at the international law firm of Hogan & Hartson, L.L.P., where he was a member of the Corporate and Securities Practice Group. Prior to joining Hogan & Hartson, Mr. Olivo was a senior associate for the international law firm of Holme, Roberts & Owen LLP. Mr. Olivo’s expertise includes initial and secondary public offerings, private placements for both venture capital funds and companies receiving capital, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnering and general corporate counseling to emerging growth clients in the telecommunications, Internet services, bio-medical and other high-tech industries.
Mr. Olivo has volunteered his time for a number of local non-profit organizations, including serving as a member of the Board of Directors of The Conscious Alliance, a 501(c)(3) organization that provides food and other services to Indian Reservations throughout the United States, and as a volunteer for Boulder County Cares, a community outreach program that provides services to Boulder’s homeless population.
